Throughout 2024, we partnered with schools, kindergartens, libraries, and community organisations to support initiatives that strengthen connection, inclusion, and learning for families in the Berri region. Each of these collaborations was built through conversations, co-design, and a shared understanding of what matters most to local families.

In 2024, we launched this website in response to growing demand for a single, accessible hub where local families could find trusted information and resources all in one place. This project was shaped by the voices of the community, from “shout-out” polls at school events to Facebook group feedback and casual chats at local gatherings. Every feature was guided by what families said they needed most.

Held in Berri in 2024, the Family Expo brought together a wide range of local services, professionals, and resources, all tailored to the needs of families in our region. Designed to be accessible, inclusive, and informative, the event offered a welcoming space for parents, caregivers, and children to explore the supports available in their community.

In late 2024 and early 2025, we held two fully booked Baby and Child First Aid courses, each welcoming a room full of parents, grandparents, and extended family members. With 29 and 26 attendees respectively, the sessions reflected a strong community desire to learn practical, potentially life-saving skills in a supportive environment.

We were proud to support a large community celebration in 2024 by funding quality entertainment that helped make the event memorable for local families. Our contribution focused on creating a fun and inclusive space for children, with engaging activities and entertainment that encouraged laughter, movement, and connection.

Running weekly across three school terms in 2024, our Mothers Group became a space of connection for local families. Held on Monday mornings at the Berri Community Centre, the group offered a relaxed and welcoming environment where parents could drop in, enjoy a coffee and morning tea, and connect with others while their little ones played nearby.
