  • River Families First is a community-led initiative that connects, supports, and informs families in the Riverland. We create opportunities for parents and caregivers to come together, share experiences, and access helpful resources and workshops.

  • All families are welcome! Whether you’re a new parent, a seasoned mum or dad, or a caregiver raising little ones, River Families First is here for you.

  • Most of our events are open to everyone, but some workshops and courses may require registration due to limited spots. Keep an eye on our Facebook page and website for updates.

  • Our main base is in Berri, however any families from the Riverland are welcome to attend

  • Children are always welcome unless otherwise stated. We aim to create inclusive spaces where parents don’t have to worry about finding childcare to join in.

  • We connect families to local services, share practical resources, and offer workshops that support everything from parenting and first aid to wellbeing. Our goal is to make finding help and connection easier for every family.
